This is an in rem action brought under 21 U.S.C. § 8811 to enforce the forfeiture of a 1972 Corvette. The Corvette's owner, Edward Simard, was indicted on two counts of conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1), 841(b)(1)(B), and 18 U.S.C. § 2.
