Mr. JUSTICE RIZZI delivered the opinion of the court:

Maria Perez and Frank Alvarez were charged with theft in violation of section 16-1(a),(d) of the Criminal Code of 1961 (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, par. 16-1(a),(d)). In a bench trial, both defendants moved for a directed finding at the close of the State's case. The motion was granted in favor of Alvarez but was denied as to Perez. She did not present any evidence and was found guilty...
