In order to resolve a boundary dispute, Norman Polk tore his neighbor's fence down. The neighbor, George Threet, sought judicial relief and, through a jury verdict, obtained it. Polk. who represented himself in the trial court, hired a lawyer and appealed. The main contention is that the trial judge misapplied the law...
