Claimant began to receive a monthly State pension in excess of $1,100 upon his voluntary retirement from service with the Department of Audit and Control in 1975. Following a two-year period of self-employment, he was briefly engaged as a researcher by the Assembly of the State of New York, and he filed a claim for unemployment insurance benefits in June of 1978 when that position came to an end under nondisqualifying conditions...
