This is a garnishment proceeding. Plaintiff, Houston J. Doucet, was the holder of a chattel mortgage on a horse in the amount of $2,000.00. He obtained a money judgment against Larry Wells and Suzanne Simmon Wells on the mortgage note in Acadia Parish which also recognized the chattel mortgage, the judgment being dated June 7, 1979. The present action is one to make that judgment executory and to obtain garnishment in East Baton Rouge Parish against...
