A jury found appellant guilty of rape (Pen. Code, § 261, subds. 2 and 3), assault with a deadly weapon (Pen. Code, § 245, subd. (a)), sodomy by force (Pen. Code, § 286, subd. (c)), and robbery (Pen. Code, § 211). The trial court denied appellant's motion for a new trial and sentenced him to state prison.
