This suit together with a companion one, State v. Ellender, 371 So.2d 638, involves lands for a right of way for improvements to State Route No. 24 in Terrebonne Parish, commonly referred to as the Bourg-LaRose Highway. They were consolidated for trial purposes in the district court. The properties taken are contiguous and we shall hereinafter refer to them according to fee ownership, i.e., Ellender and Champagne...
