From a statement of agreed facts we learn the following. The plaintiff and the defendant, a young man and a young woman, were students at school in the Commonwealth in 1977. Their parents resided in New Hampshire. They had been "dating" since 1976 and were engaged to be married in the fall of 1977. In October, 1977, the engagement was terminated.
