Plaintiff-appellee Edward Francis sued Government Employees Insurance Company (his uninsured motorists carrier) and Roberta Brown, seeking damages for injury sustained in an automobile accident. The parties stipulated the uninsured status of Brown who was clearly at fault. At trial, there was no serious issue as to liability, and the jury returned a verdict in Francis' favor for $15,000 which Government Employees here contends should be reduced and Francis...
