Sullivan, Stevens and Stevens' insurer, United Services Automobile Association, appeal the trial court's denial of their motion for a judgment notwithstanding the jury's verdict or a new trial.

Price, an off-duty police officer at the time of the accident, sued the appellants after he was injured on his motorcycle while chasing Stevens' car, driven by Sullivan. Price, while in his garage polishing his motorcycle, observed Sullivan in Stevens...
