The defendant was charged with second-degree murder and, after a jury trial, was convicted of manslaughter in connection with the shooting death of Ralph Cardwell. On appeal, the defendant questions the sufficiency of the evidence to support this conviction, and urges reversible error with respect to certain instructional matters, various rulings on the admissibility of items of evidence, and alleged misconduct on the part of the prosecutor.
