After a bench trial in the circuit court of Macon County at which he was found guilty of the offenses of unlawful possession of cannabis and a controlled substance, defendant William R. Hall was sentenced to 2 to 10 years' imprisonment for the latter offense. Upon appeal to this court, we affirmed (People v. Hall (1977), 45 Ill.App.3d 469
