An arbitrator issued an arbitration award arising out of a contract dispute between the parties. Three days later, after being unilaterally contacted by one of the parties, the arbitrator attempted to change the award by letter. The Ninth Judicial District Court granted defendant's motion to vacate the amendment made in the arbitrator's letter and denied plaintiff's motion to enjoin defendant from refusing to comply with the award as corrected.
