By assignment of error number one, plaintiff contends that the defendant Nash County was liable in tort for the wrongful death of plaintiff's intestate which resulted from a hazardous condition in the office of the Register of Deeds. In support of its motion for summary judgment, defendant Nash County submitted the affidavit of L. R. Holoman, Jr., the Nash County Manager, who is in charge of procuring insurance at the direction of the Nash County Board...
