Burclaff, Jr., was tried by a jury in the District Court of Vermont Unit No. 4, Orleans Circuit, and found guilty of a nighttime attempt to break and enter a dwelling house, in which personal property the subject of larceny was situated, with intent to commit larceny in violation of 13 V.S.A. § 1201.
