OPINION

DORIS, Justice.

This is a civil action brought by the plaintiff Henry L. P. Beckwith, Jr., to recover damages for breach of contract. At the conclusion of the plaintiff's direct case, a trial justice of the Superior Court directed a verdict for the defendant on all counts. Judgment was entered accordingly, from which the plaintiff appeals. For reasons set forth herein, we affirm.
