The defendant was convicted by a Superior Court jury of unlawfully distributing heroin. He appealed his conviction, pursuant to G.L.c. 278, §§ 33A-33G, arguing error in (1) the prosecutor's cross-examination of five of the defense witnesses, and (2) portions of the judge's charge to the jury.
