Appellant's first conviction of second degree murder was reversed and remanded for a new trial by this court in Smith v. State, 344 So.2d 915 (Fla. 1st DCA, 1977). Appellant was convicted of second degree murder following his second jury trial. The second trial was conducted during Florida's one year experiment with cameras in the courtroom.
