In February 1975, twelve female employees of the Wadsworth Electric Manufacturing Company filed complaints with the Kentucky Commission on Human Rights alleging sexual discrimination in violation of KRS Chapter 344 by their employer and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 1102.
