The defendant and a codefendant were tried together and convicted, after a trial to a jury, of burglary in the third degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-103a, robbery in the first degree in violation of § 53a-134 (a) (2), and kidnapping in the second degree in violation of §§ 53a-94 and 53a-91 (2) (b).
