Defendant appeals his conviction of the offense of aggravated battery under one Count1, and battery under a second Count2, of the information. The sole issue for our determination is whether the trial court committed reversible error in failing to give jury instructions on the lesser included offenses of "attempts" to commit the two crimes charged.
