This is an appeal from a judgment entered in favor of the plaintiff, John Randall ["Randall"], by the Burleigh County Court of Increased Jurisdiction. The case originated when Randall brought an action in small claims court seeking $1,000 damages for the negligent repair of the engine in his Volkswagen microbus. The defendant, C. D. Anderson ["Anderson"], doing business as Capital Rental & Import Repair, removed the action to the county court...
