WILLIAMS, J.

The question in this case is whether a homeowner, having claimed a homestead, may sell his home free of judgment liens during the period of redemption following foreclosure of a mortgage thereon. We hold that he may and affirm.

The foreclosure judgment was entered April 11, 1977. The owner of the property, Herbert C. Alexander, had filed a declaration of homestead on March 11, 1975, when his wife was living, and another one on March 30, 1977,...
