On April 17, 1978, appellant filed and served a petition of condemnation pursuant to Code Ann. § 95A-601 et seq. Palmer and Douglas Credit Association filed a notice of appeal expressing dissatisfaction with the compensation on May 24, 1978. The Department of Transportation filed a motion to dismiss the appeal, but the motion was denied and the trial court issued a certificate for immediate review.
