Plaintiff, formerly employed by the Louisiana State Police, was a member of the State Police Retirement System from December 1, 1948 until March 31, 1951. Upon his resignation in May, 1951, he withdrew the funds he had contributed to the Police System ($108.60). Plaintiff became employed by the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office in 1962, and since that time he has paid into the Sheriff's Pension & Relief Fund...
