Following the dismissal of a criminal charge of unlawful possession of a credit card with intent to circulate, plaintiff brought this action against Shell Oil Company, whose agent had signed the complaint in the criminal proceedings. Defendant Richardson is an independent dealer-operator of a Shell station.
