Appellant originally entered a plea of guilty, in 1973, to second degree murder, and was sentenced to a term of ten to twenty years. No appeal was taken from the judgment of sentence. Thereafter in 1974, appellant filed a petition under the Post Conviction Hearing Act1 alleging ineffective assistance of counsel.
