In these cases, the plaintiffs, Bruce R. Carpenter et al., have appealed from separate judgments of the Superior Court and the Court of Common Pleas sustaining the pleas in abatement by the defendants in each case. The plaintiffs' appeals arise out of a common nucleus of facts and are sufficiently similar to permit their disposition in one opinion.
