This is a suit under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq., to redress alleged discrimination in employment on the ground of race. The two captioned cases have been consolidated. At a pretrial hearing, the motion of defendants to deny class certification was granted, and the case went to trial as three individual claims.
