OPINION

DIMOND, Senior Justice.

By reason of non-payment of 1973 property taxes, the Greater Anchorage Area Borough1 acquired some of the Wallaces' property in a tax foreclosure action in the superior court on April 10, 1974. Prior to that date, the Wallaces had been notified of the pendency of the foreclosure action, but had failed to pay the taxes due.
