Robert Schleifman was injured in a motorcycle accident while traveling from the Sourdough pipeline camp, admittedly a remote site, to the bank in the city of Glennallen, about 30 miles away, to cash his payroll check. The question on appeal is whether the injuries he sustained en route are compensable under the Alaska Workmen's Compensation Act.
