This is an appeal from a conviction for murder. The indictment alleged that appellant did "then and there, intending to cause serious bodily injury to an individual, Mary McCasland, commit an act clearly dangerous to human life, to-wit: did then and there intentionally strike the said Mary McCasland with a brick, thereby causing the death of said Mary McCasland .." A jury found appellant guilty and assessed his punishment at 99...
