The plaintiff, Donna Lee, brought an action to recover damages for personal injuries sustained after she was struck by a car as she was crossing the street. The car was being driven by the defendant, Robert Chastang, who was employed by the defendant, J. Wiss & Sons Company. The jury returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff for $7700.
