MACDANIEL, J., delivered the opinion of the Court.

Kenneth Countess, the appellant, was charged with the crimes of assault with intent to murder and carrying a concealed deadly weapon. On May 8, 1978, after a non-jury trial in the Criminal Court of Baltimore, he was found guilty of the above offenses and was sentenced to thirty years and three years respectively, the sentences to be served consecutively.
