Alice Bennett brought an action for damages against defendants (hereafter respondents) by reason of injuries she sustained in a fall while visiting as a guest at apartment premises owned and managed by respondents and rented to plaintiff's hosts. The cause was tried to a jury which returned a verdict of $50,000.00 for plaintiff and judgment was duly entered.
