PAULSON, Justice.

The defendant, Ronnie Schmeets ["Schmeets"], has appealed to this court from the judgment of conviction in the Wells County District Court on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Schmeets was charged with the possession of a controlled substance after police officers discovered cocaine in his apartment during a search that was conducted with a search warrant. Schmeets brought a motion to suppress the evidence obtained during the search...
