PRICE, Judge:

The Commonwealth appeals from the order of the Court of Common Pleas of Lycoming County per Judge Carson V. Brown granting appellee's motion to dismiss filed pursuant to Pa.R.Crim.P. 1100(f). Because we find that Judge Brown's order, which in effect overruled a previous order of a judge of equal and concurrent jurisdiction, was an inappropriate exercise of authority, we reverse the order.
