Appellee brought suit against appellant to recover damages allegedly caused by the failure of a truss system manufactured by appellant. The jury awarded appellee $9,500. The court ordered a remittitur of $1,930.57. We first discuss appellant's contention that the court erred in admitting certain checks into evidence to prove damages.
