Both litigants in this civil action are residents of Connecticut. The plaintiff (Majewski) seeks to recover a $7,500 balance due on a buy-and-sell agreement whereby he sold a private school called Key Punch Academy (the academy) to the defendant (Porter) for the sum of $15,000. Porter filed a counterclaim based upon her assertion that the sale was the direct result of certain misrepresentations...
