On June 6, 1978 an indictment was returned in the Superior Court (Penobscot County) charging defendant Albert C. Blanchard with two counts of theft by unauthorized taking (17-A M.R.S.A. § 353) and three counts of embezzlement (17 M.R. S.A. § 2109).
