This matter consists of appeals by Dr. James and Mrs. Julia Salmen, husband and wife, and Dr. James Salmen as parent and natural guardian of Charles Salmen, from the judgment of the Ramsey County District Court in actions brought as a result of a motor vehicle accident involving an automobile owned and operated by Mrs. Salmen and a truck owned by the City of St. Paul and operated by Andrew Shantos. Separate actions were commenced below
