John Earl Huger was convicted at a court trial in the Criminal Court of Baltimore of shoplifting goods of Giant of Maryland, Inc. On direct appeal, the judgment entered against him was affirmed by the Court of Special Appeals. Huger v. State, No. 410, September Term, 1978, decided 27 November 1978, unreported.
