Sidney Smith sued the Washington Hospital Center (WHC) and three of its employees — Sergeant Joseph Brock, Nurse Nona Dickson and Nurse Doreen Dixon — for slander and for procuring his false arrest and false imprisonment. He also sued the District of Columbia and one of its employees — Officer James Trainor — for assault and battery and for false arrest and false imprisonment...
