The County of Hall, Nebraska, acting for and on behalf of Patricia J. Wisely (Hall County), appeals from an order of the District Court for Hall County, Nebraska, which granted to the appellee, Ronald Leo McDermott (McDermott), a new trial. Hall County maintains that the trial court abused its discretion in so granting the motion for new trial. We have examined the record in this matter and find that the trial court did not abuse its discretion...
