In this action to recover damages for personal injuries, summary judgment should have been granted to defendant Avis Rent-A-Car Systems (Avis) dismissing plaintiff's complaint against it.

The complaint alleges that on April 23, 1971 defendant Avis, a foreign corporation doing business in this State, through its agents, rented a Volkswagen car to defendant Rebold and gave the latter permission...
