This is an appeal from the district court's denial of habeas corpus relief pursuant to K.S.A. 60-1501 et seq.

Following his conviction of first degree murder in 1960, Hannon was committed to Kansas State Penitentiary pursuant to a life sentence imposed by the district court of Wyandotte County.
