The Commissioner determined a deficiency in petitioner's Federal income tax for the taxable year 1971 in the amount of $3,395.48. Due to a concession by respondent, two issues remain for our decision:

1. Whether petitioner must include in his income for 1971 an item of $842 representing part of the interest earned by five savings accounts during 1971...
