Petitioner, Barry P. Ryan, was charged by complaint in the Phoenix City Court with driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor and two traffic violations. He was convicted, after trial by jury, of driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor but acquitted of the two traffic charges.
