Geneva McKinney brought this tort action individually and on behalf of her minor son, Robert Hicks. In her petition, plaintiff alleged that Robert had been kicked by Larry Greene, principal of the Pleasant Hill Elementary School, as a result of which both she and the child had suffered mental and physical pain, and the child had incurred a disability.
