OPINION

RICHMOND, Chief Judge.

This is an action for damages for personal injuries sustained by plaintiff Rosemarie T. Waqui and for the wrongful death of Christine Stevens. Following jury verdicts in favor of Mrs. Waqui and her husband in the sum of $75,000 and in favor of James W. Stevens, as surviving spouse of Christine, in the sum of $1,000, the plaintiffs moved for an additur or new trial on the sole issue...
